Is there a way to temporarily deactivate/disable all used effects within a complete Project? I have about 500 Comps in my Project with a lot of Effects used. For a faster preview i want to disable all Effects.

    I’m using CS4 on a Mac.

    regards,
    Phil

In the area next to the timeline where it gives all the layers and their names etc find the little check box named FX and click on it to turn off all effects. click on it again to turn them back on. Just highlight all of the layers you want to turn off the effects on hit the fx switch and you good to go!

I’d be interested in this as well, only….this method doesn’t work for nested comps right?

If I’m just working on timing, I don’t need grain reduction, echo effects, exposure, etc. I just need to see the clips motion compared to the audio or other clips.

Any way to just disable All of them for preview only?
