    Hi chaps,

I’ve deinterlaced all my footage in PREMIERE PRO CC using Field Options>Always DeInterlace, but there are a few clips in my timeline that are After Effects CC Comps.

I’ve went into the comps and added the Reduce Interlace Flicker effect to the video – but does anyone know what I should set the softness to to match the deinterlace level in Premiere?

Reduce Interlace Flicker just blur small details, doesn’t deinterlace.

you render out AE with fields off to deinterlace. and make sure that interpret fields for video is uppper/lower/pulldown correctly first.

if you want higher quality, I recommend plugins that preserver detail better than the default adobe settings.

also in AE, if you select preserve details, the deinterlace may look better
