de-interlace in compressor
Hi
I’m working in a FCP sequence and in the timeline there is mostly progressive footage but also some interlaced, i was thinking of using compressor to de-interlace the whole sequence, do you think I will get some odd results on the material that is already progressive?
degradation perhaps?

Why do you want to deinterlace?

Couse I want to have everything progressive…
So instead of doing it for each clip that is interlaced in the sequence i thought of doing it to all, even if some footage is already progressive.

To deinterlace everything is lazy and is likely to cause issues.
Why do you want everything progressive, at this stage?

Thanks a lot, i supposed that this one was not the right choice, just lazy!
–Because it’s the final stage and want to uniform everything
