dds (reflection map) problem

hi!

I have the same problem. i`m using a mac. so the nvidia photoshop plugin isn`t an option for me. i tried to convert jpgs with “graphicConverter X” (7.0.1) into DDS file format. but unfortunately the textextruder can`t handle that dds-file i had generated/converted. has someone a idea how i could generate dds reflection maps on a mac?

I’d also like to know if anyone has a way to do this successfully on the Mac. Thus far, I only have knowledge of users successfully generating DDS files on Windows systems.

If you have boot camp on your Mac you might be able to run Windows Photoshop and use the nvidia dds generator plug-in – have you considered trying that?

thats the last posibillity. i tried several tools for mac. graphicconverter 7, squishDDS, gimp and ContentaConverterPREMIUM. no success. if i can`t find a working tool for osX i have to do it with bootcamp, and so on. because a custom reflection map is just essential to me.

the way through windows/photoshop&nvidiaplugin makes the workflow complicated. and makes it hard going..
