customer wants a DDP file on DVD-R, not tried this before so any help is a bonus.

i have Gear Pro Mastering, so am i right in using DVD-ROM UDF, write to DDP file and then burn the DDP files to a DVD-R data disc?

Better to deliver on a pen drive. There could be issues. Do a search if you want to read up on issues from past posters

if you deliver DDP on disc, be sure to burn them with UDF-filesystem and also burn a 2nd one for each layer as backup, if there are read-out-problems from disc.

    label each layer carefully.

but better choose a harddisc or DLT-tapes.

    cheers
