  DCP with safe colors or full range?

  Hey everyone,

  can anybody tell me, wether a DCP expects safe color levels (i.e. 16-235) or full range (i.e. 0-255).

  I have to create a DCP and need to know if I would get crushed blacks if I would go on and use full range luma, or a washed out blacks if I used legal range.
  The video right now has safe levels inside Avid. The question now is, whether I should keep the levels at legal range or expand to full range when I export out of Avid.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
