DCDP missing on second monitor
Hi
I am running a mac pro 2 x 2.8Hz quad core – 4 GB of ram a radion X1900 graphics card an Atto fibre channel card and a Kona LH. running OS 10.5.2 and final cut studio 2 fully all fully updated.
My problem is that I have not been able to to get the digital cinema display preview to work on my second monitor. In fact I am only able to see the DCDP main option and all my Kona options I am not sure where the other DCDP option have gone.
They seem to have disappeared after the Kona control panel 5.1 was installed.
Is any one having similar issues or know of a fix -

Trash your prefs for FCP to see if it doesn’t fix you up.

If you are running a Kona 3 and Leopard get the new Kona 3 5.1 NDD drivers. This should fix that.

OK so I have just un-installed my kona drivers and all of the digital cinema display option have returned. I then installed kona drivers v5 and all the option disappeared this was also the same in v5.1. I then installed the 5.1NDD the latest and gratest kona have to offer. This WORKS all of my option have returned and work as they should.
I cannot be sure but this does look like a kona version issue, certainly the OS v10.5.2 is part of this as is quicktime v7.4.1. Though I have to say I find the kona site confusing given what they say about v5.1NDD

This is what the 5.1 NDD fixed. They removed the Macintosh Desktop Display feature.
