    Hello there,
I’m interested in getting 2 of the Sennheiser ew 112-p G3 systems and I’d like to power them with my NP1 battery pack but don’t see an option for dc power on the EK 100 G3 receiver module from the info on the web. Does anyone have experience with this?

    Thanks,
    -Mike

Hello Michael and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

In looking at my G2, I think you may need to head a “McGyver” solution.

My suggestion would be to contact Buzz Turner at Turner Audio in CT.

Ask Buzz (yes, that’s really his name) if he has a solution.

You can buy an adapter made by Sennheiser: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/355456-REG/Sennheiser_DC2_DC2_DC_Camera.html. Unless Sennheiser changed the battery section of the G3 from the G2, this will fit either transmitter or receiver. You can add a plug for whatever power output you have.

Thanks for your responses, I emailed Buzz Turner and he mentioned the same, Sennheiser DC2, which should work for the G2 & G3’s. It looks like an interesting option.
