there’s an effect im trying to create in vegas pro 11 but im having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to do it, the effect im trying to make is below

i know that i’d most likely have a person in front of a green screen, but how do i achieve that effect of the person “disappearing” like that in vegas? i should point out that my experience should be labeled as a beginner since my furthest extent of editing has only been simple masking

it can be done in vegas, but its not a simple one step process
Jaymes. it can be achieved with the character must be on a transparent
background, and simply use a transition effect to teleport him
away and under that layer have the background there that is consistent…
i hope you can figure out the concept of what im trying to convey.

well as far as a transition effect, is there a specific one in vegas i should look for? and by having a person in front of a transparent background, do you mean like a green screen or somthing?
