  Davinci suddenly refuses to open

  I am suddenly experiencing trouble opening davinci lite 12.5 (mac 11.3)

  I have been using it for a project for at least 6 months now, but tried to open it today and just about get to the davinci startup image,
  but it never opens and just shows the mouse dial going round and round….

  When i click to force quit davinci it shows ‘application not responding’

  Has anyone had this problem or know what i could be doing wrong or different?

  would be very greateful for any advice, have made a drp back up but not tested if it works so do not want to install a new version untill all else fails!
