  Davinci Running Slow with Nvidia Quadro 4800

  Hi

  Installed a Nvidia Quadro 4800 and installed Davinci Resolve and its really laggy. Wont playback in real time only gets to about 8 fps with Apple Pr Res SD quicktimes and also slow response time when setting power masks and tracking etc.
  Machine has plenty of RAM (16 GB) and 8 cores…. The GPU seems to be getting bottle necked in the system somewhere but cant think of where…..Have run the same footage on another system a 2008 mac pro running 16GB which is also running the Nvidia Quadro 4800 and its playing fine……. could this the only difference is the 4,1 is using an AJA…

  any thoughts?
