DaVinci Resolve Resellers or training in Canada?
Hi everyone,
I’m the senior editor at a post-house in Toronto and we’ve pretty much decided that we’ll be putting in a grading suite anchored by Resolve 8 on Mac with a Tangent panel.
Can anyone recommend a proven reseller who will support this product after the sale? We’d prefer someone in Canada but according to the BMD website everybody is located in the US. We can live with that as long as their tech support is good.
Also, who’s doing training? I’d consider flying to somewhere on the east coast for a few days of intensive one-on-one. OR are there any expert freelancers who will travel up here and show me the DaVinci specifics? I don’t need the concepts of CC’ing, just the application specifics of Resolve’s node system, conforming EDLs, etc.

I highly reccommend David Catt, of Film Systems, here in Alpharetta, Georgia. He was the product manager at Davinvi for Resolve from the onset, and can sell, install, and train all in one stop. davidcatt@gmail.comReally the best!
