Then trying to do this on a MacPro mainframe will be frustrating, especially with the ATI card. There are also some advantages to even running the Q4000 as the UI GPU and a better CUDA card as the grade processor. Best is an XPander with as many CUDA cores as you can afford… the cards offered as options in the previous threads are not idle threats. If you are running 4K R3D RAW, then unless you intend to operate at quarter-res-good, then a Rocket card will also be in your future.
The config guide is a real source of distilled wisdom and should not be ignored if you want repeatable results.
