Is HDR turned off? I assume you’ve done a nice color pass in Redcine-X or something.

They should be shooting in one of the 16×9 settings and not RED’s goofy 2:1. I’m assuming that’s available in the cranked speeds.

Not @ 300fps. 4k will do 16×9 @ up to 120.

We originally wanted Alexa, but the scripts call for specific slow motion.
We couldn’t find a Phantom in the area of the shoot location, so looked at Epic.
After the 300fps test, we decided that 120 on an Alexa might just work after all. The post will be less painful and the DP thinks the shoot will be a bit smoother as well. I’m really looking forward to it.
Not to mention, I tried transcoding our test footage and RCX and RCX Pro kept crashing. It brought back awful memories.
I should add that After Effects CS5.5 crunched through no problem with the Epic beta components.

No X on this one, although I’d really like to.
I’m using the GlueTools filter, actually. The importer is great.
