davinci resolve better quality, why?
Hi there,
i don’t know why but when i visualise a raw footage (RED 4800×2700, redlogfilm to redgamma2) in after effects, the picture has less details than when i visualise it in Davinci Resolve. Even when i render the file the quality is not good than it is on Davinci resolve.
i try to change some project settings: 32bit, video rendering CUDA, i tried the working space to REC709 gamma2.4 (same in Davinci), but still no good quality in Ae.
Even in premiere pro i have the problem, even when i change the preview settings of the timeline in same resolution than the footage with very or none compression, the problem is still here.would you have any idea?

What version of AE are you using? Is it 17.0.2?

i’m using the 17.0.0 build 557

You are two bug-fix updates behind. You might consider updating. It might not fix this particular issue, but there are a BUNCH of bugs in there that have been cleaned up.

i don’t know about the very last version, but the one after mine gave me big bug like impossible to open the project because ‘missing data’ and this problem was solved when i installed back the previous version.
And apparently i wan’t alone as i read on different forum other people had the same problem -
