    Hi Guys,
what would the workflow be between Edius v6 and Davinci Resolve Lite.
I’m assuming you finish your edit and then export an HD file and then grade in Davinci Resolve and then export again?

But that feels like a double export? Loss of quality?

Thanks any help is appreciated, Hugh

What file formats do you normally export?

If you use something like uncompressed QT or DPX you should have no quality loss at all.

The alternative is to export an AAF from Edius and then relink to the original rushes in Resolve. That should mean that you only render once.

    Hello, Dan,

I’m investigating Edius to Resolve workflow. The EDL export is not yet works for me coz I own Edius 6.08 at the moment, so I have a footage coded in Canopus HQ, thus the only way is to export a sequence to Resolve through AAF. Everything is fine except only 1 thing,- there’s a problem to import a sequence in Resolve w/ more than 1 track inside (meaning Resolve recognize only VA track which is to simple for the normal Edius project). Is there any workaround of solving this issue? Thank you.
