  • DaVinci Resolve 9 Lite only accepts GTX570 as “GUI Only” !?!

    Hey Guys,

having some troubles here with my DaVinci Resolve 9 Lite!

System is: MacPro 4.1, 2,66GHz Quad, 24GB Ram, Mountain Lion 10.8.4
Just upgraded to a Geforce GTX570 from MacVidCards in combination with a Geforce 120.
    Latest CUDA Drivers installed!
My plan was to use GTX570 as GPU and keep the 120 as GUI only. Unfortunately DaVinci only accepts it the way round.

Tried every possible Slot configuration, didn’t help.
GTX570 only results in black video in DaVinci Preview Monitors although I can scrub through my Timeline.

OSX and every other software (Sony Raw Viewer etc..) recognizes and accepts GTX570 as GPU.

On Davinci Bootup keeps telling me:
“Your current hardware configuration is not able to support maximum realtime performance.”

    What did I forget??

    Many thanks in advance!

    Chris

And which one of them do you have your monitor plugged in?

I tried different set ups. Which way do they have to be plugged when using GTX as GPU and GT120 as GUI?

In GTX570 only approach I had just one monitor attached to the gtx.
Just got me black video in playback.

I found out, that the Lite Version doenst support two cards but this still doenst explain why I only get black video in playback.

    bests, chris
