I want to update to Lion in our Davinci suite, we have a Mac Pro 8 Core, Decklink HD Extreme 3D and we run besides Davinci, Final Cut Pro 7 and Premiere Pro CS5.5, running Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Is it save to upgrade now? anyone having trouble with Lion 10.7.2?

    Thanks!

been running it for the past few weeks and no real problems. Only thing I would suggest is turning of the “remember” feature for launching apps – that is close a an app and next time you open it it returns the the windows to their original state. You can find this in sys preferences.

I tried lion and was having lots of wierd issues with cs5 and a bunch of kernel panics. So i went back to 10.6.8. But YMMV, I heard that plenty of people are fine, but they tend to be the laptop users…

I’m no Adobe user, but Resolve 8.1 is good on Lion.
