DaVinci Lite and Avid 5.5 / frame rate mismatch?
Hi,
I completed a grade in Davinci, exported the clips out using AAF roundtrip option and imported them into AVID.I need to set the TAPE field so AVID will relink to the sequence, but it seems Davinci only exports out the clips with rate = 24FPS. There’s no 23.98 FPS setting in Davinci.
Avid refuses to set a tape value for the imported clips as the rate of the project is 23.98 with the error “The clip(s) you have selected could not be modified. Only master clips in the project’s rate can be modified when using Set Source”
So I basically can’t relink the graded clips to the 23.98 sequence.
Anyone know how to get around this?

Yes, there is. Even using AAF round trip under the Easy Setup dialog in the Render page, you should have the option to select either 24 or 23.98 in the Frame Rate dialog.
