    Hi folks!

So, I’ve installed Davinci 8.2 last night on a

    iMac 27 3.1ghz i5
    16 gb of ram
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 Mb
    Lion 10.7.3

The first issue was that no database was installed… So I did the trick to remove the Software, remove PostgreSQL 8.4…

    Resinstalled everything…

    Now…

DaVinci is DEAD… The software crashes on opening.

I’ve also tried to downgrade to 8.1.1… No chance as well.

    Plz help? :o)

8.2 required a database upgrade – did you get database not connected or no database? If not connected all you needed to do (to late at this point) was connect and then upgrade your old database. If no database just create a new one.

    The computer was brand new…!

    This was the first installation…

I’ve tried to create a database inside Davinci, and I had an error message (I don’t have it, forgot to take it)…

So I did remove Davinci and ProgreSQL, resintalled and now… nothing…

I’ve seen a few more lite versions doing this during install. I’m sure it’s not your iMac.
