So this is really messing me up.

I just got into colouring in school and while working in color, my teacher told me to look into DaVinci. I download 8.3 Lite, which I do know is supported by my MacBook Pro, and of course I get the graphic driver problem.

Yes I have turned of energy saving.

Basically after a fresh start I can run it, but I do not get to open the FCP X – XML, it just crashes. Even though I know it should support it.

Also a little OT, but when I start it I only get “No database” and no possibility to create one, what am I doing wrong?

    Processor i7 2,3 Quad
    Memory 8 gigabyte
Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
    OS Lion 10.7.2
    Hardrive 7200 RPM 500 gig

    Hey Carl,

Your issues are being caused by the database issue rather than the GPU error. Its caused by the database not being installed fully. We normally remove the database and re install to fix.

Can you contact davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com. They should be able to assist you quickly and easily.

    Thanks!
