    Hi,
I am trying to use Kona 3G with DaVinci Resolve. 444 RGB Uncompressed QuickTime files are listed as supported on the BMD supported codecs list, but evidently AJA uses a coding scheme that DaVinci doesn’t work with. The result is that the files do not show up in the DaVinci browser. Has anyone got KONA 3G 444 RGB Uncompressed QuickTimes to work with DaVinci? Thanks,

You could transcode the AJA 10-bit RGB quicktimes to DPX using AJA’s QTtoDPX Translator tool, on the AJA website and might already be on the workstation with the Kona…

    Thanks for your response Kevin,
I have been trying the DPX generator and it does work. The downside is that the transfer takes about the same amount of time as the shot, and you have to do them one-by-one. It is a very confusing operation to perform on-set, as files are being constantly generated.

You could use Glue Tools with compressor and queue everything up in batches based on reel names.
