Dave, sorry to contact you in this way, but I didn’t see another way of getting a hold of you without bothering you at work 🙁
I’m going to be putting together a bunch of tidbits to help new people out (and some not so new) and I’d like to add your “Stock Answer #1” and any other advice you wanna throw in a beginner guide.

Didn’t wanna step on your toes 😛Who knows.. maybe I’ll write first book and make it for the step between “Total Noob” and “Being Useful”.. that’s where I am.. without an actual education in the field, it’s somewhat difficult to progress from “Ok i know what layers are now” to “yeah, that’s easy, here’s how you do it” -bridge the gap so to speak..
meh we’ll see 😀
