Database Questions
If there is a resource or thread that answers my questions, please point me to it …
A few years ago when Lite was first released I installed it I noticed it installed a database that (unless I was mistaken) continued to run on my system even without running Resolve Lite. A friend of mine just mentioned to me that he uses a “static file based database for each Resolve project.”
Can someone elaborate on this? Is this sort of workflow option presented upon installation, or on a project by project basis? if I install the current version of Lite – does it install some sort of default database that will continue to run even without running Resolve?

In resolve 9, davinci added a disk based database as an option instead of the Postgres database that’s usually used. I believe it’s now the default in the lite version.
