    Robert,

I downloaded the newest update and it installed under lion flawlessly!

Thanks Carl that worked for me as well. I had to reconnect the database though and upgrade it manually, but that was no hassle.

    Thanks Rohit,
Your commands did it for me. The last one contains an error though, you should have written : sudo dscl . -delete /Groups/postgres to delete the user.
I reinstalled resovle lite and the database was successfully upgraded. I still get an error saying I have no cuda GPU but that’s another story.
    Regards, Greg.

EDIT: cuda error solved: unchecked the switch graphic card option in my macbook pro energy savings prefs

    Steve,

Thanks for posting this. It worked for me on the new 8.2 beta and hopefully will continue to work for Lion users running into this problem.

hmmm, link doesn’t work anymore and all of the code solutions aren’t applying for me. Still getting the error on the final line – in latest version of lion.

One instruction to add to this (i just had this problem and followed Rohit’s directions):

After his instructions, launch Resolve, it will still show “no database connected”. In the database manager select “CONNECT” (not create new) and leave the fields in their default. It will then connect to the newly installed database from your re-install!

P.S. thank you so much Rohit!! You saved me!
