    Hi all,
Just starting to use Motion and was wondering if anyone else finds the Dashboards annoying. I appreciate that they give you quick access to the most common parameters for an object but the inaccuracy of the sliders means that I’m wasting much of the time dragging the sliders trying to get an exact amount, and end up going to the Inspector anyway to enter an exact figure. I think the Dashboards would be far more useful if one could enter specific values.

Nope I love them for fast tweaking. If I need exact parameters I switch to the inspector. How much easier could it be?

Hide it if you don’t need it.

It’s not supposed to replace the exactness of the Inspector controls, just make it easier to get to the more common ones for trying things out.

I hear where you are coming from, sometimes I love dashboard, but sometimes I just want to say GO AWAY! I still havent made a final decision on whether or not to keep it up or not, but you are not the only one.

ps – thanks apple for at least providing it!
