I had a crash with vegas pro 12.486. Vegas sent a bug report and suggested I upgrade to .563. I hadn’t done the upgrade because my system was fine. Since the upgrade if I click the video preview Icon my second monitor no longer becomes video preview. I can drag across the video preview window to the second monitor. I checked settings and my graphics card port 2 is selecected as preview device. If I click identify monitors in the preview device prefs I see the big 1 and 2 on the proper monitors. Anybody else have this problem???
    Thanks
    Brad

I just had this and started downgrading my NVidia drivers. Nothing helped and then I realized it was only when I was previewing from the Media Manager window. If I used the Trimmer or moved the clip to the timeline, the external monitor worked fine.

Just noticed that this also happens with the preview from the Project Media windows also. The full screen/external monitor option seems to work with the timeline preview and Trimmer only for me.
