Dark Video/Caused By Back Light
When a video section is dark because of back lighting, is there a way to correct this without using the brightness and contrast. This method hasn’t worked very well for me. Is there a way to just increase the color black, and will this help?

Use the Levels filter (preferably with scopes, this is covered quite heavily in the VASST/Glenn Chan Color Correction for Vegas DVD) or the Curves filter. B/C should almost never be used as you’re cranking up luma noise.
