Dan’s importing text to layers – not for Mac?
I have tried Dan’s excellent script for importing text as layers into AE, but I can’t get it to recognise the files on a mac – it works fine on a PC. It sees the files, but won’t let me select them.
Any ideas?

Try changing this line:
var myFile = fileGetDialog(“Select a text file to open.”, “TEXT txt”);
to this:
var myFile = fileGetDialog(“Select a text file to open.”, “”);

Sorry for the tardy response – been snowed under (I’m not complaining!)
Thanks for this Dan, this has proved a really useful script when doing subtitling in AE. Generous with your time and knowlege as ever.
