    The movements look sharper because each frame is very sharp with little to no motion blur. The effect is accomplished by shooting with a high shutter speed. You will need more light on-set than you might be used to, and the higher you push the shutter speed, the more light you’ll need.

    This technique was used to great effect in films like Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator.

    so it’s more about the camera and lighting equipment. Thats What I thought at first as well… But i figured there was a way to do that digitally…

    ReelSmart Motion Blur [link] from RE:Vision Effects can reduce motion blur in video footage.

    It’s an amazing effect, and the results can be very good — but it’s math, not magic, and an effect like this is really best in-camera.
