    Hi,

I have a project gone bad, My computer crashed and now i cannot open the project anymore.
I get this error ” the project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened”.

Before starting from scratch i wondered maybe someone has some magic?

    It’s a long shot i know,

you should have a version or so saved in the auto saved folder. just look at the time stamp and get the newest/last save one. I dont have my pp open so i can not tell you the folder name. like

    premiere pro auto save

usually where you created the origianl project file

    Hi Frederic

first thing to do is like mark explained:
    open a auto-saved project.

But when auto-save is dissabled or a auto-saved project is to “old” try this:
    (that worked most time)
Create a new project with the same setting as the corrupt project.
Then import the bad project in the new project.
That worked sometimes when i had a corrupted project.

    Good luck

Although i remade the project from scratch (time time time), i thank you for the tips and will try to recover the bad project…
