the wierdest thing happen to me.

I was shooting on my HVX200 using 64gig as usual.
as always i imported the materials to my avid editing system MC ver 3 (PC with (the damm) windows vista)
at that day we had 4 cards of 64gigs.
3 of them were fine. the forth one looked good too, but 10 days after we realized we have 30 min missing.

I HAVE NO CARD BACK UP – I HAVE THE FILES ON A HARD DRIVE, WHICH WERE COPIED FROM THE P2 CARD.

histericly i searched the folders and found the missing mxf in the folowing directory: NVCPRO/the_Date_of that day/ CONTENT/TMP 002
(i had 3 TMP folders, the lost mxf were found just in one of them)

the CLIP folder in the TMP folder has no XML files in it.

i cant seem to import the footage in any way – import p2 dosent work, nor media tool.

i have 50 files in total. 10 video 40 audio.
I ONLY MANAGED TO IMPORT 6 AUDIO FILES.

can i restore and repair the files in some way?

    anyone? idea?

    thx
    Mikooka

You might look at Raylight MXFX 2.0 which can create a full P2 card folder from a bare MXF file. https://dvfilm.com/MXFX There is a free demo. Hope it works for you.

Have you tried putting the media back on to a card and repairing it with a camera?

What program was used to transfer the cards to the hard drive?
