I am looking for a quick and easy way to do a daily backup of the logging I do in Premiere CC or Prelude CC. My source media is AVCHD, and it seems that the subclip info is saved as metadata in XMP files in folders of the original media (specifically in the Stream folder of the BDMV package)

During logging, only these very small XMP files change, not the large, original MTS media files. So, after I backup all the media once, I would like to only backup the changed XMP files daily, and NOT the many GB of MTS media along with it.

Does anyone know go to achieve this? The backup programs I’ve tried all backup the larger package that includes the raw MTS media, even though those files have not changed during the daily logging process. They must see that the timestamp of the XMP files have changed, but they include the huge MTS files as well (perhaps because it’s in the same package structure?)
