I’m taking ProRes source media from our editor for encode to H.264s with burn-in TC. About half of the media has multiple audio tracks, 1:camera left, 2:camera right, 3:lav, 4:boom (sometimes there’s a track 5&6 too). For the H.264s I only want to output lav & boom. The best way I know how to do this is pretty manual so any advice on speeding up the process is appreciated. I’m thinking make my H.264 files with multiple audio tracks and then delete the ones we don’t need using Quicktime Player 7 pro. Alternately, delete tracks from my ProRes files & save reference QTs before importing to Resolve (or Media Encoder or Compressor).
