  Daft Question? Can I create a folder of Proxy files using P2 Viewer?

  Sorry if this is a stupid question but I just wondered if it was possible to create a Proxy archive using P2 viewer, avoiding the need for CatDV.

  I see P2 Viewer can display a virtual P2 card of just proxies – surely I can then copy these onto a new Virtual P2 card for storage elsewhere and then use this to browse my footage in the future when I’ve dumped the raw P2 footage to DLT?

  Does that sound possible?
