    Hello everyone.

I was thinking and googling around. I want to ask, if somebody tried putting a HDMI from the Nikon D800 to any (AJA,BM…) HDMI to SDI converter, so you can have a SDI output. Theoretically it is possible? Isn’t it?
For example putting a D800 on a rig with this converter on the back an pulling a SDI cable from it to a TVlogic monitor.

    Just wondering.

It’s possible, we do it all the time with an AJA HDMI to SDI converter. However, the AJA converters require A/C, so mounting it on a rig isn’t an option.
