Saw a very nice video shot with the D$, but in the comments the folks who made it said that they had to edit it with Pro Res on a Mac because Premiere Pro doesn’t support it yet.

Can anyone provide any insight on that?

    Thanks

Just change the extension to MP4 for any nikon camera. Works fine. Bug is with how Nikon tags their clips in the headers.

Thanks, I see I wrote d$ instead of D4, but I assume the same advice would apply

I also typed D$ on another forum, appropriate nonetheless.

    Richard,

I just tried a test changing the avi to mp4 of some clips from my D3s to see if PProCS5 preferred them. They won’t open in PPro even though the avis do.
