Cutting one clip to the markers in the timeline.
I am searching for good solution for creating multicam video (trailers, short music video etc.)
Currently I do it in this way:
1. Setting markers in beats in the timeline.
2. Making a sequence with ~10 video tracks, nesting and enabling multicam function.
3. Manual cutting to every marker.
4. Choosing right shot in multicam panel.I would like to do 3. point automatically. I tried automate to sequence but it works only with more than one clip.
Is there another way to get this done effectively?

Since you have your multicam clip in the timeline.
make sure your video strack patches are enabled
AND
your audio track patches are disabled
I use FCP shortcut keys….
but from the beginning of your sequence….
play back and tap CMD K (ctrl K on PC) to the beat as it plays
this will add your edit points to your multicam. by splicing the video track at the beat points.
then go back and keyboard navigate between edits and choose the desired multicam angle.
should be pretty quick that way…
