cutting and tracking
Whats the quickest (probably easiest) way to cut lots and keep tracking?
sorry, i’ll have to explain by job:
I was given a tape, over an hour long, of kids going up on stage, shaking hands, getting certificates, sitting down (on stage), next kid, repeat (for ever!!!! it seems)
i only need 20 seconds of one particular child.
I thought it would be a nice intro to show the stage filling up: basically i kept 3 seconds, deleted 60s, repeat, repeat.
Add crossfade all.
This has a nice feel to it, but its handheld video! So i want to align the central speaker (so the kids seem to fade in and stage fills within seconds not hours. of course the one kid in question is near the end).So my question is, whats the quickest way to achieve this ‘summary’.
Should i cut and then try a stabilizr/track effect, or stabilize first then cut? my experience of stabilizr effects was slooooow and difficult.Any tips?
