    Cutting a video’s viewable area

    I captured a video off my computer at a size of 750 x 750 pixels. But only about 480 x 425 of it is what I want to see – how do I cut down what is showing so I’m left with clips that only show the 480×425 portion?

    I am using Adobe Premiere CS3

    Use the crop effect.

    Along with cropping, you may also want to use Adobe Motion to SCALE the video up to make viewable portion fill more of screen. You will still have some black surrounding because usable image is not the 720×480 required for video
