Cutting a sphere in half and retaining solid sides
I’ve been trying to take a rectangle object, use it to cut a sphere in half. Everytime I do this, the sphere splits in half but is hollow where the rectangle cut it. Is there a way to cut into an object and have that side become a solid wall? I then want the object to be two separate objects and then cut both of them again. Any and all help would be appreciated

Well, not sure what you like to achieve in the end, I presume there are many
ways to cut objects apart and fill the holes again.Here is a very simple way:
Create a sphere (or any other object) make it editable
select half of it -
Use the boole to (A subtract B) remove half of the sphere, this will leave a solid face at the intersection.
Make the boole object editable, drag the two components out of the Boole structure, delete the Boole, which becomes a null when made editable and you then have two objects, the open semi-sphere and it’s solid face.Is that what you were after?
