Hi, This is probably a silly question. But what would be the best way to go about cutting one project using a notebook some time and my desktop pc other times. Reason we have a baby and I can’t be at my desk as much, so I thought I could use my notebook the times I’m away from my desk. So what iam planning to do is load vegas on the notebook along with copies of all the source material which are stored on my desktop. Then is it as simple as passing the veg file back and forth between the machines? All the best anthony

I’m not 100% sure if Vegas works on Notebooks, but if it does then you’ll have to load ALL the files you’ve been using on your desktop (all videos and graphics/images whatever youve been using) – not just the Vegas file.

The easiest way to do this is when you start new projects, keep every file you use in that 1 folder. If your using an image or video from another folder copy the file over to the new project folder so you have 2 copies, then if you need to transfer them for whatever reason you can simply .RAR them up or copy them over as a folder as a whole.

    Hope this helps =]
