Is it possible to do this.

Given a closed spline on a surface can you remove the area enclosed leaving a hole?

On another tack how can you prevent thinking particle geometry passing through each other? I’ve built a stream of particles moving down a tube and want them to bounce off each other rather than pass through each other.

    Thanks for any help.

Extrude the spline through the surface and use a Boolean – A without B

    More ways?…

Arndt’s Edge Extrude Pro plugin is still the best way to cut holes with splines–as it preserves quads around the edge. It’s available in the Dairy Store.

Regarding the particles, you can use the “TP Particle Collision” object in Objects>Object Library. You just have to click on the object in the OM and drag in the names of your particle groups.

    Adam,

Do you happen to know if the Edge extrude plugin works with c4d vers 9?
