“Cut-out” video?
I’m looking for a way to cut out certain elements from a video, such as people/cars/movie objects.
Sort of like how the band members in this are cut out and put ontop of anouther video.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=3oAfMU0tY70The only way I can think of right now is by just going frame by frame and erasing everything I don’t want or making some sort of mask over it frame by frame. Is that the only way to do it? And if not, would that still be the best way?

Create a mask in the first frame. You can then keyframe the mask in every frame and make adjustments to your mask. Yes, it’s tedious.
