Customizing Mouse Commands
Posted by Jeff Pierce on February 8, 2008 at 5:05 pmIs it possible to customize the mouse like you can the keyboard?
Specifically, I’d like the pinwheel to be a timeline zoom control rather than a scroll control.
Thanks in advance.

February 9, 2008 at 5:26 pmIf it is, it’s in the Apple system prefs. I have a really great mouse you CAN do this with BTW… take a look at the Revolution mouse from logitech. Love it.

February 15, 2008 at 11:26 pmI have a Logitech MX510 mouse — not the same as the Revolution, but it does have programable buttons. But how do I program them? I assumed it would be in the System Preferences… but it’s not. What’s the process for your mouse?
TIA.

February 16, 2008 at 3:22 pmWell the Logitech mouse has a control panel you need to install… it then shows up in the bottom area of the System preferences window… I program it using that control panel. Look for one for your mouse in the support area of the manufacturers site…
