  • Customised Project View dissappears on re-open

Posted by Adam Read on December 31, 2008 at 12:13 pm

    Hi

When I customise my project window (eg. show icons, customise the columns displayed, create new ones etc), everything goes back to ‘default’ once I close and re-open the project.

Why is this, and is there a fix?

I am running version 3.2.0 on XP.

    Thanks

Did you try saving it as a new workspace ?

    Yes I did

It’s not the layout of the pallets that’s the issue (that function works fine). It is when I customise the view options of the clips in the PROJECT window (for example I want to view thumbnails not text, or I want certain columns).

That is the part that ‘dissapears’ and resets to normal on re-open.

I misread. I’m afraid that part can’t really be saved.
