    Hello,
Does anybody know how to emit particles using an object as an emitter shape instead of the particle emitter without using thinking particles. I’m looking for a quick fix if it’s possible.

    Thanks
    Donal

Don’t think so. There was an old plugin by Paul Everitt that did that but there’s no link to it anymore (at least not here https://www.c4dplugs.com/ – search for Surface Emitter). Maybe someone else knows of something but TP presets from the Object Library are fairly quick.

That sounds like the job alright but I followed the link, found the surface emitter plug in thingy but I can’t access it. Anyone know is it still going?

If you have DPIT Nature Spirit (www.dpit2.de) you can use SimpleParticles.
