Custom or add-on filters for Compressor?
Is there a market or a mechanism for third party filter add-ons for Compressor? Specifically, I’m looking for the ability to de-saturate (black&white) video while processing in Compressor. FCP has that filter, but not Compressor.
Is there a way to add filters? Any third party filters available?

There’s a filters tab in Compressor that should give you enough options to desaturate the image. I’ve used them before we some good results.
BUT, before you spend a lot of time compressing, test, test, test! Once you lock in a ‘look’ you can save it as a preset, then apply it to the rest of the clips you want to effect.Good Luck,
