    Hello

I am working on a multimedia persentation, that uses custom resolutions of 1024 X 644

This is not Broadcast work obviously, its a director macromedia presentation.

Problem is every time I try to use squeeze to create MPEG 2 in this resolution I get awful results

Image has darkened, there are lots of lines across the picture and fine type is totally distorted,

are their any answers or tips as to what is going wrong?

    thanks for any advice

    best

    James

The only answer is to not use Squeeze for any MPEG encoding (of any type)! Squeeze has a very weak implementation of the MainConcept encoder. Better options exist in the encoders from ProCoder, Compressor, Compression Master, BitVice, and the stand-alone MainConcept encoders.
