  • Custom Clip Naming Messing Up Clip Order Any Suggestions?

When I import clips into an event, they are arranged in ‘name’ order, with the default name being the date/time of creation. I’ve set up custom naming so that I can highlight them all and apply a name such as:

    wide clip 1
    wide clip 2
    etc

However, since upgrading to 10.0.3, when I apply a custom name to multiple clips, the clips become completely jumbled up. So the first clip in the event might be given the ‘wide clip 5’ name and the second clip, the ‘clip 15’ name and so on. Any settings that might have got changed?

I hope someone responds with an answer…I’ve having the same issues. Imported from P2 card, highlighted clips (in order), applied . Puts clips out of order before applying .

I’m not even using custom names and the clips come into premiere pro cs6 completely out of order. The lastclip.txt file is there so I don’t know what is up.
